Dave Berry Teams Up With Gaymers For Festival Frolics

XFM DJ Dave Berry is teaming up with Gaymers, the UK’s no 1 live music cider to bring Gaymers Lost In The Orchard experience to Glastonbury, Leeds Festival, Latitude, The Big Chill, and Bestival this summer.

At Gaymers Lost In The Orchard, the magic of the West Country meets an unexpected musical wonderland, offering festival goers something very different from anything else they’ll see at a festival this year. Overall it’s everything a festival should be; fun, intriguing and uplifting.

Dave Berry is curating the Gaymers Lost In The Orchard line up for 2010, hand-picking an intriguing mix of unusual and entertaining acts to delight and excite festival goers throughout the summer.

Berry is certainly excited about choosing this year’s acts and said: “Gaymers understand that festivals are all about discovering new things, that’s what makes them so exciting and entertaining. I’m sure everyone will have a story about seeing Biffy Clyro perform for the first time on a tiny stage or hearing The Killers belt out Mr Brightside to 25 people.”

While selecting the acts to play at Gaymers Lost In The Orchard, it’s fair to say that Berry came across his fair share of the unexpected. He said: “We’ve got this great band called the Rinky Dinks who describe themselves as a Ukulele Super Group. When I went to see them they said their two main influences were George Formby and The Clash; brilliant.
There’s another fella I put through called Lewis Floyd Henry, he’s a one man band act, thoroughly entertaining and unique, he looks like Hendrix and plays more instruments than Dylan!”

Peter Spencer, MD of Gaymer Cider Company, is thrilled with Berry’s contribution to Gaymers Lost In The Orchard, he said: “Gaymers has made a huge commitment to music activity this year and Lost In The Orchard is a big part of that. I think that Dave Berry has chosen a unique array of performers that are really going to light up festivals this year.”
