P!nk surprised Dublin last night by stopping off in a local for a few. The singer is in town this week on the Irish leg of her Funhouse Summer Carnival tour. But she didn't just drop into any old local, the energetic performer relaxed in the crowded surroundings of Pantibar on Capel St.
The bar/club is no stranger to famous faces and is owned by Dublin's top drag performer and queen of the gay circuit, Panti Bliss.
The singer stole all the attention and supported the gays when she arrived unannounced to take in the debut night of drag performer Miss Bunny's brilliant new show 'The Hutch'. She later tweeted about loving Dublin and it's Whiskey!
On a lighter note, the running times and support line-up for her three upcoming Dublin gigs have been announced, as follows:
Tonight at the gig in Belfast at the King's Hall will run with DJ Paul Kennedy from Cool FM beginning at 5:30pm, City and Colour at 6:30pm, Butch Walker at 7:30pm and P!nk will take the stage at 8:30pm.
The RDS Dublin gig on Saturday night will have the same running order but will include Hockey instead of City and Colour, the same going for the Thomond Park gig in Limerick on Sunday evening.
Times are subject to change though, but gates for all three gigs open at 5pm.
The concerts promise to be a spectacle in themselves, all being open-air events. P!nk recently completed the most successful tour of all time in Australia with 58 sold out arena shows. The tour has limited details but fans are set to enjoy a wider, more varied set list which will change between shows. The tour will also include less acrobatics but more drama.
