Fast on their way to becoming one of the world’s biggest bands, Thirty Seconds To Mars’ status in the UK has already been proven with shows this year that include a sold-out arena tour as well as a headline slot on the second stage at Download Festival.
Their undeniable popularity continues to grow with the confirmation of their biggest UK tour to date which commences at the end of November. The tour, including a show at London’s 02 Arena on November 30th, will see the band play to a combined audience of over 50,000 people (support provided by Enter Shikari).

Aside from the arena shows and Download, Thirty Seconds To Mars are also set to play further festival dates at Oxegen and T in the Park.
Thirty Seconds To Mars will follow their triumphant Download set with the July 19th release of the new single ‘Closer To The Edge’. Co-produced by Flood (U2, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails), Steve Lillywhite (The Rolling Stones, Talking Heads, Peter Gabriel) and Thirty Seconds To Mars, the uplifting ‘Close To The Edge’ is led by Jared Leto’s soaring vocals and backed with an undercurrent of electronic flourishes.
Taken from the global hit album ‘This is War’, ‘Close to The Edge’ features backing vocals courtesy of the band’s fan community The Echelon, who contributed to the album’s recording during sessions in nine different countries stretching from America to Australia.
Formed by brothers Jared and Shannon Leto and completed by Tomo Milicevic, Thirty Seconds To Mars have won numerous awards and accolades, including an MTV Video Music Award, three MTV EMAs, an MTV Latin and Asia Award, a Fuse Award, and three Kerrang! Awards.
