The countdown to T4 On The Beach 2010 is on as Channel 4 today unveils yet more top acts to perform at this year’s hottest summer music event.
Hit English-Swedish trio The Hoosiers will bring their usual dose of deranged fun to the stage as they launch their long-awaited comeback. The band will be performing exclusive tracks from their brand new album ‘The Illusion of Safety ‘Look out for ‘Choices’ their energetic electro-pop single sure to wow fans on the beach.
From the Caribbean to the British Coast, singing sensation Iyaz joins the line-up after the massive success of his number one smash ‘Replay’ earlier this year. The rapper has just released his debut album of the same name and is bound to get the crowds pumped with his slice of summer reggae-pop.
Fresh on to the rap scene, Londoner Example will debut his urban style on the beach. He’s had success with floorfillers ‘Won’t Go Quietly’ and new single ‘Kickstarts’ but where he really excels is in front of a crowd – and Weston’s 45,000 music fans will be his biggest gig ever.
Five-piece Welsh rockers Kids In Glass Houses will be rocking Weston straight from a UK wide headline tour, where they have been playing throngs of screaming girls – a must-see for those who like sexy boys in skinny jeans with low slung guitars.
For those who were too late to get themselves a ticket, T4 On The Beach, sponsored by Aygo by Toyota, will broadcast in a packed 3 hour 45 minute show on C4 on Sunday 4th July from 2pm followed by a repeat if you missed any of the action on the 4Music channel from 5.45pm. T4 On The Beach has already revealed a number of acts who will be performing at the star-studded event including JLS, N-Dubz, Jason Derulo, Tinie Tempah, Alexandra Burke, Scouting for Girls, Pixie Lott, Chipmunk, Ellie Goulding, Diana Vickers, The Saturdays, Taio Cruz, Professor Green, One Night Only, Plan B, Dizzee Rascal and Basshunter
T4 presenter Miquita Oliver said: “We’re almost there and 4th July can’t come soon enough! It’s always my favourite day of the summer and I’m looking forward to seeing what all of the acts have up their sleeves when they come out on stage.
