Hard Rock International and Absolute Radio have today announced that their joint monthly live music shows ‘Hard Rock presents Absolute Radio Sessions’ will be heading north next month! On 21 June, Brit rockers Feeder will perform at Hard Rock Cafe Manchester, taking the Sessions out of London for the first time since they started.
‘Hard Rock presents Absolute Radio Sessions’ have been taking place at Hard Rock Cafe London since February, with Editors, Scouting For Girls, Amy Macdonald and Joshua Radin all performing exclusive sets on the Hard Rock stage and airing on Absolute Radio.
The Feeder gig will be hosted by Absolute Radio DJ Polly James, and tickets can be won by tuning into Absolute Radio, visiting link, or via local competitions and promotions. This exclusive show will broadcast on Absolute Radio on Monday 28th June from 7pm and will also be available to watch on the Absolute Radio website along with an exclusive backstage interview with Feeder.
Feeder first burst onto the UK rock scene in the mid 90’s and have steadily built a reputation as one of the country’s best loved home grown rock acts, with a string of hit singles such as ‘Buck Rogers’, ‘Just The Way I’m Feeling’, ‘Tumble and Fall’, and five Top Ten albums. The band –now comprising of original members Grant Nicholas and Taka Hirose, with new drummer Karl Brazil, release a new single ‘Call Out’ on 14 June under their side project moniker Renegades – this Hard Rock and Absolute Radio hosted show will be a great chance to see them up close and personal, showcasing some of their new songs alongside their hits.

National station Absolute Radio is all about live music – the station has broadcasted live from the Isle of Wight Festival, Hard Rock Calling, V Festival and has had more than 100 sessions in the Absolute Radio studios from the likes of Chris Martin, Kasabian and Lily Allen. For the station’s first birthday Breakfast Show DJ Christian O’Connell hosted a traffic stopping gig on Regent Street to thousands of Absolute Radio listeners creating a real moment in music history.
