Bringing tunes from their debut album, Mind Chaos, to our shores again, Portland’s coolest export Hockey, are set to embark on their UK headline summer tour this June.
Coming out of the creative hub that is Portland, Hockey are striking a chord across America and the UK. The band won over New York City crowds during a run of Manhattan and Brooklyn gigs, earning them a spot in NME’s ‘ones to watch’. The band’s success hasn’t just been felt across the pond, after touring the UK they were described as a perfect combination of “arty cool dance and shameless pop.”
There’s plenty to love about ‘Mind Chaos’, the debut album from Hockey. The record frames a band enthralled to folk rock, indie pop and dancefloor-friendly shakedowns. Hitching these influences to a collection of catch-all choruses and guaranteed festival anthems, ‘Mind Chaos’ is a record seamlessly built to a summer blueprint.
In addition to the below headline dates, Hockey also provide support to pop powerhouse P!nk on her Funhouse Summer Carnival Tour throughout June & are set to perform at the Isle of Wight festival (11.06), Hyde Park (2.07) & Latitude festival (16.07).
