The World Cup Carnival Comes To Shepherds Bush

This summer, the world will be attending the festival of football that is the World Cup. But how will you be celebrating?

Gone are the days of asking your mates ‘where are we going to watch the game?’, trying to get to the pub early enough to get a table or inviting enough people around to your house to build a bit of atmosphere…

From 11 June to 11 July 2010, London’s cognoscenti will descend upon the iconic Shepherd’s Bush Pavilion as it is transformed into a mecca to World Cup Football and cutting edge music, complete with mini festival atmosphere to further fuel the excitement of the biggest tournament in the world’s most popular game.

The World Cup Carnival have kitted out the impressive 800-seater indoor terraced amphitheatre on Shepherds Bush Green with a huge 16-meter high definition screen and full surround sound to give uninterrupted views and crystal clear live time match commentary of every minute of action.

As well as viewing the game in the best setting besides actually being there, to celebrate in proper carnival style the games are complemented by a truly brilliant line up of some of the finest DJ talent around including STANTON WARRIORS (DOM B) // THE NEXTMEN // CRAZY P // LAZERSONIC // TAYO, with more acts to be announced in the coming weeks.

If that isn’t enough, all featured evening games will be followed by an almighty party, so if you’re patriotic about England or Italy, Brazil or Australia, South Africa or New Zealand and so on, a mini festival awaits you.

Whether you’re a footie fanatic or music-mad, a fair-weather football girlfriend or just along for the ride; with a full stadium atmosphere, the finest music in town, gourmet food stalls, cocktail and beer bars, a BBQ terrace, brass bands, half-time entertainment and much much more, the World Cup Carnival is THE place to watch the 2010 FIFA World Cup this summer.
