Xtra Mile High Spring Tour

Celebrating yourself is something Xtra Mile Recordings rarely approves of, but just this once we'll allow ourselves the honour of doing so.

SO, the first ever Xtra Mile Recordings tour will take place throughout May. Even better than that simple piece of glorious news is that those mighty scots The Xcerts will be spearheading the entire operation. Each night will have a rotating support bill of Xtra Mile acts including country punkers Crazy Arm, Welsh skewed-alt rock titans Straight Lines and ska-tinged indie outfit Fighting Fiction. Amaze.

To coincide with this ridiculously generous good deed to the entire nation, we are also releasing the second volume to our Xtra Mile High Club series.

Geniously titled Xtra Mile High Club Vol. 2 – this will be an iTunes EXCLUSIVE compilation available for the dirt-cheap price of £2.49 from 17th May 2010. Cherry-picking tracks from our awesome roster the album includes: globe-conquering folk-punk hero Frank Turner's Sons of Liberty, a track from brand new duo Jaakko & Jay and the ever-delightful strains of Brighton's very own Chris T-T.

If that wasn't enough – and frankly we think it is – the first 50 people to turn up on each night of the tour will receive limited promo copies of the compilation. We're too good for actual words.
