Everyone's favourite Kells rock outfit, Ham Sandwich have returned with a stellar new single.

'The Naturist' is the band's first single in nearly two years following a break and an unexpected pregnancy for lead singer, Niamh Farrell.

The single launch will take place on May 15th in Whelans Venue, Dublin, where the band will showcase some samples off the new album along with some well-known tunes from their first album. Support on the night will come from Kid Karate.The new album, entitled Natural Causes, is expected to be released in September.

Ham sandwich have had a turbulent few years, beginning with the hugely positive reviews of their first album Carry The Meek, then continuing with gracing big festival stages and winning Meteor awards. Then came Niamh's pregnancy until late in 2008 when Niamh was brought before court accused of stealing €14,000 from former employer BT2.

But the band are triumphantly back and better than ever, ready to regain their hold on the Irish music scene. Tickets for the launch are €16, available from Ticketmaster now!
