Modest Mouse Announce Post Festival Dates

After their appearances at Reading/Leeds and Edinburgh Festivals, American indie rock veterans Modest Mouse will be performing at O2 Academy venues in Newcastle and Liverpool this summer.

Modest Mouse has been making groundbreaking indie music since 1994. In that time, the band has released five studio albums and six EPs including last year’s ‘No One’s First and Your Next’, a compilation of unreleased tracks and B-sides from the bands previous two albums. Lead by Isaac Brock’s gruff voice and signature guitar tone, Modest Mouse’s sound has evolved over the last decade and a half from a three person affair to a multi instrumental show with two drummers and horns.

The band has recently announced that 2000’s landmark ‘The Moon and Antarctica’, which Pitchfork.com rated as the sixth best album of the 2000s, will be reissued on 180 gram double disc vinyl.

Don’t miss the opportunity to see Modest Mouse in an intimate setting after they dazzle crowds at this summer’s festival.
