During his live web chat with MySpace Music, American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert quashed rumours he's set to replace Simon Cowell on the American Idol panel, saying: 'I keep hearing the rumour too – unfortunately it's just a rumour. I would be honoured to be asked – but I think at this point I'm just focusing on my career as a recording artist.'
Answering questions live on the MySpace website, he also opened up about his fear of ending up alone: 'I have a fear of being alone – not being alone by myself, but I want to fall in love, and grow old with somebody and I just sometimes get scared that it's not going to happen.'
When asked by fans who should play him in a movie of his life the singer revealed that Titantic star Leonardo DiCaprio would be the one, stating: 'I have always thought that Leonardo DiCaprio is a really good actor – he could get intense.' He continued by talking about his inspirations; 'To be able to work with David Bowie would be amazing – his imagination and creativity are beyond – he's an Icon…..I'd also like to sing with Christina Aguilera – I love her voice, I've been a fan since she came out and I think we would throw down and we would be loud…I would love to work with Rihanna – she is so down to earth and sweet and kind and friendly. Her tunes are so catchy and visually she is just giving you beauty.'
Fans of his look should watch this space, as Adam revealed he would like to start his own make-up range; 'I would like to start my own make up range – there's no definite plans yet, but it's something that would be really fun to do. I think I would make it unisex, I wouldn't market it to men or women. I don't think there's any harm in enhancing what you've got! That's my motto'
