If you are currently unaware of the recent hype over the big festival line-ups, where have you been?! Most hot festival topics recently have been related to Glastonbury, Reading, V etc. But what about the “smaller” festivals. A good example of one of these is the Relentless Boardmasters Festival in Newquay. Now obviously, you cant be expecting a line-up to rival this year’s Glastonbury Anniversary (or even anything close to that), but these festivals can have some added value over the larger ones, not to mention the tickets being miles cheaper.
Held on the world famous Fistral beach and also music at Watergate Bay, the setting is a lot different compared to the middle of nowhere place that is Worthy Farm. You find yourself at the seaside enjoying the festival life, an attractive offer for most. You can catch Skating, Surfing and BMXing championships on and a wealth of musical talent this year including: Seasick Steve, Chase & Status, Tinie Tempah, Leftfield, Newton Faulkner, Example, French Horn Rebellion, Plan B and Ou Est Le Swimming Pool; with many more to be announced. Tickets are just £35 for each day or £80 including camping for the weekend. For more info, go to link
