Chris T-T Spring Tour

Following the release of his stunning seventh studio album ‘Love Is Not Rescue’ in March, Chris T-T heads out on tour this Spring taking in a few festivals over the summer months.

Playing piano, electric and acoustic guitar (although not all at the same time) Chris will play throughout the UK plus support friend and label mate Frank Turner on a couple of shows in Ireland. He’s also confirmed for a slot at Blissfields and 2000trees Festivals in July.

In a change of direction from 2008’s rockier, heavier ‘Capital’ (the final part to his acclaimed London Trilogy), with ‘Love Is Not Rescue’, Chris focuses more on personal themes of career choices, love and the complexities of relationships rather than overt political discord. Stripping back his sound and laying bare private lyrics over delicate melodies, “British pop’s street-poet laureate and unsung genius” (The Sunday Times) has produced a beautifully introspective and pensive album.

Chris T-T is a unique talent; a renowned and revered master of songwriting and lyrical genius with a career spanning over a decade. His satirical, wry and witty portrayal of the world around him has earned him critical and underground success so far – and with ‘Love Is Not Rescue’, the rest of the world is sure to wake up to this national musical treasure.
