Tiga is the latest addition to this years all star Creamfields line up, which returns to Daresbury in Cheshire on August Bank Holiday weekend.
Canadian born Tiga has risen the ranks to become one of the world’s most in demand electro DJ/Producers whose remix talents have been called upon from the likes of Depeche Mode, Human League, Scissor Sisters, and Soulwax to name a few. Tiga headlines this year’s Mixmag Arena and will be joining the likes of Switch, Kissy Sell out, DJ Mehdi, Alex Metric, and BBC Radio 1’s Jaymo & Andy George.
Other new acts announced include Jesse Rose, the Berlin based house music producer and DJ who is attributed with having kick started the ‘fidget house’ movement along with fellow jock Switch aka Solid Groove, Jesse performs on the Strongbow Stage on Saturday 28th August. Another addition is Kids on Bridges, the band which have previously supported the likes of Gary Numan and Little Boots were once described by the late Tony Wilson – founder of Factory Records – as having “the mouth of Liverpool and the swagger of Manchester”. Their electro pop sound has gained the band a loyal fanbase with their MySpace alone hitting well over a million, you can catch them performing on the Main Stage on Sunday 29th August.
Following the success from last year, the Jägertruck returns with a jam packed line up of talent. The strident orange truck which converts into a mobile music arena will see performances from the likes of Cassette Jam, LMP’s Adam K & Tom Dillon Koenig, Rich Furness, Lee Rands, Chris Mimo, Andy Woods, Autophase, Thomas Tuft, Steve Parry, Andy Newland, Paul Nunn & James Glover, Michael Paterson, Mark Mac, Adam Helliwell and one of Liverpool’s biggest DJ’s Anton Powers who joins the bill in the Swedish House Mafia Arena.
Following the sell out success of last years festival which attracted a record breaking 60,000 people, the UK’s No.1 dance festival Creamfields returns to Daresbury in Cheshire.
