New Single From Chapel Club

With their headline tour already underway, Chapel Club have announced details of a new single, news of a limited 7” single for Record Store Day and further festival appearances over the summer months.

Chapel Club release their second single ‘Five Trees’ on May 31st. Having recently signed to A&M Records, ‘Five Trees’ is the first fruit of this newly consummated relationship whilst also being the first recorded output from the band’s recent studio sortie with producer Paul Epworth.

With much of the month of March holed up with Epworth in the studio, the band have completed the half of what will be their debut album with the remainder being finished off prior to the second leg of their Spring live shows.

‘Five Trees’ has been aired at live shows this year and emerges from the studio a different beast shifting the axis of comparisons whilst continuing the band’s beguiling knack of creating compelling impressive songs from a songbook on it’s first page.

The band have announced their intention of releasing a strictly limited 7” single ‘Don’t Look Down’ for Record Store Day on 17th April. The single will come housed in a special handmade sleeve featuring photographs taken by the band and will only be available from your local independent record store.

Having already confirmed shows at Brighton’s Great Escape festival and the Dot To Dot festival, the band are also set to play:

July 31st London Field Day
August 1st London Underage Festival
