New Single From Kid sister

Kid Sister is back with her brand new single on April 19th 2010 through Asylum Records.

Daydreaming is a mesmerising sugar-rush of a record, perfectly fusing Kid Sister's thrilling Chicago-house upbringing with future-pop sensibility.

Built on simple foundations like all the best pop, Daydreaming is finished with trademark flourishes of on-the-money musical stylings. This track, fuelled by a healthy dose of club paraffin, will propel Kid Sister – AKA Melisa Young – to the mainstream with her unique genre-defying sound.

World-class collaborators helped shape this light-speed love song. Even with a supporting cast including Rihanna (Disturbia) producer Brian Kennedy and Jay-Z and Kanye West vocalist Tony Williams there's no doubt who the star of the show is: whether singing or rapping Kid Sister is the one woman hip hop firework that lights up this record and will ignite parties all year.

Brilliant remixes come from Style of Eye and Jakwob. The former, veteran Swedish techno-genius shakes up his own sound to tackle the record, creating a festival monster in the process while Jakwob, fresh from Ellie Goulding remix duty, continues to rewrite the Dubstep rulebook.
