Having already played a string of packed out European dates at the start of this year, Wolfmother have announced they will return for a European onslaught this May. With European festivals & Kiss support slots confirmed, Wolfmother will also be playing witih Pearl Jam at London's Hyde Park, and with ACDC and Them Crooked Vultures at Download Festival. The quartet are also gearing up to release their next single “Far Away”.
Already shown to be a live favourite, Wolfmother unleash the love ballad from second album Cosmic Egg. With its soaring chorus, introspective lyrics & twinkling keys, Stockdale has created another anthem. Far Away will be released on June 21st through Modular Records.
Additionally Andrew Stockdale features on Slash's new solo album on a track entitled “By The Sword” – Slash's album is due for general release in the UK on May 10th.
Amidst all of this, Wolfmother have contributed a track to the soundtrack of Tim Burton's forthcoming adaptation of Alice in Wonderland. The soundtrack will be released on March 8th.
