New Young Pony Club Album And Tour

New Young Pony Club re-entered our musical consciousness at the end of 2009 with a free download of their singe ‘Lost A Girl’ on Dec 14.

A welcome return for many, the NME called them their “favourite glossy punk-dance troupe (are) finally back…channelling Siouxsie And The Banshees at their poppiest on this melodic, melancholic little number.”

Their self produced and more importantly self funded and self released, new album The Optimist' is the sound of a band taking full control of their present and future circumnavigating their own way. It’s released on March 15th.

Remixes for Chaos come from Melé, Rory Philips and Dekker & Johan. This promo version also features the South Wales Swamp Mix (courtesy of the Manic Street Preachers) – available exclusively on the iTunes version of the album.

This is Melé’s first major remix and he steps up admirably with a genre bending remix that takes in the best of UK club music from dubstep, funky and house.

Rory Phillips has always been at the forefront of cutting edge club music with his residency at Durr and now with his pristine productions. Here he retains the heart of the song while injecting crystalline disco vibes.

And finally alongside his production partner Johan, produces their best remix since their brilliant take on The Hours… they put the funk into tech.
