Lady Gaga told Mark Ronson To Have Singing Lessons

Mark Ronson has revealed Lady GaGa told him to have singing lessons before recording his new album 'Record Collection'.

Gaga recommended her voice coach to the producer before he started work on collaborations with the Scissor Sisters' Jake Shears and Miike Snow, according to BBC News.

Ronson said: “We were working in the studio and I started singing and she said 'take some lessons'. I started going last July and then I just went every week.”

The sessions were recorded by Alex Greenwald, who sang vocals on Ronson's cover of Radiohead's 'Just', as he is “the one person I could trust and not feel like an idiot”.

Ronson added the record will be even better than Amy Winehouse's 'Back To Black', which he produced.

“I think it's the best thing I've ever done. 'Back To Black' was a seminal album and it's something I'm very proud of, but I think you grow with every record.”

The 'Record Collection', which is being recorded under the name Mark Ronson And The Business, is slated for release in July.
