Semi Precious Weapons crash-land in the UK this month, to bring a much-needed dose of NYC glam to a dour grey British winter. The shimmering four-piece come with pedigree as the first signings to Haus of Gaga, Lady Gaga’s new Interscope label imprint. Their self-titled debut EP is available to download from 14 February, shortly before the band support their ubiquitous label boss on her UK arena tour, The Monster Ball.

The Semi Precious Weapons EP features three songs, the title track, Magnetic Baby and Put A Diamond In It, and serves as a calling card for their forthcoming debut album, due later in the year. All tracks were recorded in Los Angeles in November and December 2009 and were produced by the band with Jack Joseph Puig (Green Day / Beck), and executive produced by Lady Gaga.

Semi Precious Weapons will open for Lady Gaga on all dates of The Monster Ball UK tour:
