Leaf Tea Shop and Bar are proud to present Joy Orbison, one of the hottest acts to hit the UK dance scene in 2010.
Joy Orbison, aka Peter O’Grady, is a groundbreaking producer mixing up some of the most fascinating beats and tunes to hit the house, disco and dubstep scenes. Pioneered by the likes of Mary Anne Hobbs (Radio 1), The Guardian, BBC Online; Joy Orbison has appeared on a multitude of hot tips for 2010 lists and has enjoyed rave reviews for his gifted combination of grime, dance hall and drum and bass, which are amongst some of the genres he effortlessly produces tracks that rhythmically transcend the previously unchartered territory between dubstep, garage and house. Incorporating the sounds of acts like My Bloody Valentine, Josef K and The Beach Boys he creates emotional electro music for the dance floor.
