No Emo Allowed

Hello Glasswerk readers…

You may have noticed a lack of updates on the site recently. If you haven’t then you are clearly not reading enough Glasswerk wisdom. Anyway, we have been rudderless, without direction, un-manned. In other words, we have been without the services of an Editor. However, do not fear. The new one starts in 10 days time! She will I am sure introduce herself once she has managed to get through the 20,000 emails and 3000 CDs that we have been carefully collecting in anticipation of her arrival.

In general news the last celeb BB is underway. No idea what is happening with that, anyone have a clue or care? Lady Sov was kicked out; I read that this morning, claiming she was bullied. I doubt anyone could bully that poison midget. Rage Against the Machine got the Christmas number 1. Ok, we are a bit late with that but plead diminished responsibility due to the above. What amazed me though is how some people actually criticised the movement to oust the X Factor winner for the festive sales. I don’t mean people involved with the programme either, people like Dave Gorman. Either he is getting old or just jealous that he wasn’t involved in the subversion and unable to claim credit. He will probably do a googlewhack version for it next year.

Today, we have had an emo free office. The play list of the day included System Of A Down, The Best of Foreigner, Daniel Bedingfield and Jeff Buckley. I don’t advise you to attempt this eclectic mix – it is for sophisticated ears only.

So, anyway not much going on this month site wise nor on the gig front – although we do have Nick Harper, Doll And The Kicks, Eight Legs, Mamas Gun, Roachford, The Brute Chorus, The Broadcast amongst others appearing somewhere near you, approximately. You can see where if you click that ticket button up there on the right. ^^

None of this matters anyway – go and give to a Haiti charity and give thanks for your own fortune. link
