Lightning Seeds & Starsailor Frontmen Co-Headline UK Tour

Ian Broudie; part of the fabric of British pop culture and frontman of Starsailor; James Walsh have joined forces for two very special co-headline dates this winter.

Ian Broudie was the studio magician behind the legendary Echo And The Bunnymen and has lately sprinkled stardust over The Coral and Zutons. And mingling in the midst of all of this music and creativity came The Lightning Seeds, with a string of classic hit singles, and a little football song (‘Three Lions’) still bellowed out from the terraces at England matches.

Now Broudie is back with ‘Four Winds’, the first crop of Lightning Seeds songs in 10 years. “It is not like I have ever been away, really,” he explains. “I’ve been a part of music all my life, and that never stops. These are just the songs that represent where I am on this journey.” As he relates his strange passage through a world of sound in a gushing torrent of words, you start to understand how this effusive character could have been a conduit for so much great music.

James Walsh is the frontman to the critically acclaimed Starsailor; who have sold more than 3 million albums since their 2001 debut album Love Is Here. Since then they have grown a legion of fans through their amazing live performances. In the last two years Starsailor have toured the world supporting the Rolling Stones, The Police, U2 and The Killers.
More recently Starsailor released single Tell Me It’s Not Over and album “All The Plans” “'Tell Me It's Not Over' was playlisted at XFM and Absolute Radio and is receiving major early support from BBC Radio 2.
