AFI UK Tour 2010

Davey Havok, Jade Puget, Hunter Burgan and Adam Carson – collectively known as AFI –announce a UK tour for April 2010. The band will play:

Monday 5 April Nottingham Rock City
Tuesday 6 April London Brixton O2 Academy
Thursday 8 April Glasgow ABC
Friday 9 April Manchester Academy
Sunday 11 April Newcastle O2 Academy
Monday 12 April Birmingham O2 Academy

The announcement follows the release of AFI’s eighth studio album, Crash Love, in September on DGC/Interscope Records. Produced by Joe McGrath and Jacknife Lee, and two years in the making, Crash Love is possibly AFI's most focused, direct and ambitious effort to date. Standout tracks include Medicate, Veronica Sawyer Smokes, End Transmission and Beautiful Thieves.

Crash Love follows two consecutive platinum AFI albums, which have now sold more than 2.7 million combined: 2006's Decemberunderground, which entered the US chart at #1, and 2003's Sing the Sorrow. AFI's discography also includes the full lengths The Art of Drowning (2000), Black Sails in the Sunset (1999), Shut Your Mouth & Open Your Eyes (1997), Very Proud of Ya (1996) and Answer That and Stay Fashionable (1995).
