Award-winning actor, comedian and film star, Steve Martin is also a Grammy Award-winning musician, heralded as a bluegrass player of note who has collaborated with heavyweights of the genre including Earl Scruggs, Vince Gill and John McEuen.
Master of the difficult five-fingered playing style known as clawhammer, Steve Martin appears for the first time in the UK with his bluegrass band The Steep Canyon Rangers performing tracks from his acclaimed new album: The Crow: New Songs for the Five-String Banjo.
Support comes from Mary Black, a seminal figure in Irish music and acclaimed as one of the finest female vocalists in the world.
