Absolute Radio’s Hometime DJ Geoff Lloyd presents an hour long documentary on Elbow. This is first time that the full story of the 5 piece indie rock band has ever really been told – with in depth interviews with all of the band complimented by the band’s music, both album tracks and singles.
Fellow Mancunian Geoff Lloyd interviews Elbow in the intimate setting of the band’s own studio, based within Blueprint Studios in Salford. The Elbow Story covers the entire 19 year history of the band. With honest accounts of the lows – twice being dropped by record labels and losing precious song lyric notebook! And of course the highs – which have seen them pick up a brand new audience since winning the 2008 Mercury Prize and scooping ‘Best Band’ at the 2009 Brit Awards.
This intimate insight into the band is a listen that’s not to be missed by any self respecting Elbow fan!
