Morrissey Discharged From Hospital

Morrissey has now been discharged from hospital after collapsing on-stage last night. The 50 year old was performing the opening number at a gig at the Oasis Leisure Centre in Swindon.

The News Of The World reported that as he came onto the stage he said, in true morrissey style : “Good evening…probably”, oh the irony. He then began singing 'This Charming Man' before falling to his knees and then hitting the floor. He was rushed to hospital and treated for breathing difficulties.

The Guardian reported that a spokesman for the hospital said: “Morrissey became unwell, and he was admitted overnight as a precautionary measure. He's been seen by the medical team, much improved and now discharged home.”

Everyone at Glasswerk wishes Morrissey a speedy recovery.
