KITSUNE MAISON TOUR
22 – 31 OCTOBER
Not content with putting out some off the most significant artists of the decade through their perma-chic label, those nice young Parisians from Kitsuné also know how to put together one hell of a live bill. This October they hit the road in the esteemed company of not one, but two of the UK’s best up and coming bands, co-headliners Delphic and Two Door Cinema Club.
Having triumphed at some of the UK’s key festivals this summer, Delphic augmented their status amongst fans and journalists alike as the band most destined for great things in 2010. The band released their second single ‘This Momentary’ through the notoriously astute French label back in September, having previously appeared on the seventh installment of the Kitsuné Maison compilation in the shape of a remix. This provides the first opportunity to sample the fruits of recording sessions with producer Ewan Pearson.
They are joined on the bill by Two Door Cinema Club; an incendiary, young three piece originating from the seaside resort of Bangor, Northern Ireland. The band release their debut single on the label this November in the form of ‘I Can Talk’, which appears on the forthcoming 8th Kitsune Maison compilation with a remix by Moulinex. Riotous festival appearances ensued across the UK at Isle of Wight, Underage and Glastonbury where the band picked up numerous fans. They have recently finished working on their debut album with Eliot James (Bloc Party/Noah and the Whale) and Philippe Zdar (Cassius), and it is slated for release early 2010.
