Saving Aimee Set To Release Their Debut Album

The London six-piece have been super busy in 2009, having set up their own label ‘Hey You’ the band released their much lauded single ‘We Are The Good Guys’ earlier this year. With the track going stratospheric Saving Aimee found themselves appearing on BBC2’s switch show as well as being playlisted on Radio 1, Kerrang Radio and headlining the Red Bull Stage at this summers Underage Festival. With a relentless touring schedule and staunch DIY work ethic it’s no surprise they have picked up a legion of crazed fans across the country.

‘We’re The Good Guys’ is an explosive debut upping the feel good factor and perfectly capturing the raucous energy of their live shows. The LP kicks off with bouncy synth- pop number ‘Honesty is The Policy’, which sets the tone for the rest of the album. From the ricocheting vocal harmonies of new single ‘Fresh Since ‘88’ (released 19/10/09) through to the thick layered guitars and lairy synths of ‘VIP’ SA manage to blur the line between pop, punk and emo whilst forging their own unmistakable sound. Awash with guitars that hurtle towards sing along chorus’ it’s clear that SA are torchbearers for a new breed of synth punk-pop that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

‘We’re The Good Guys’ is released 30/11/09 on Hey You/ Autonomy and the band hit the road on 11/10/09
