Kids Love Lies Release 'Under The Bed'

'Under The Bed' is the new single from the beguiling Kids Loves Lies. It’s poignant, quirky and charming in equal measure – a whirlwind of a song full of attitude that demands your attention. Brimming with a cacophony of relentless, frenetic guitars, an energetic bassline and crashing percussion, all topped off by Ellen Murphy’s Karen O-esque vocals; the result is an explosion of energy which builds towards the song's climax.
Also included on the single are two B sides; 'Big Mouth', a fast-paced, beat-driven song & ‘Learning To Smile’ a vocally-led acoustic number, revealing a softer side to KLL.

It’s been quite a year for the London-based 5-piece. Their debut single ‘Count In My Head’ grabbed the attention of Nick Grimshaw who described them as his “new favourite band” . Huw Stephens, Steve Lamacq and Zane Lowe are also big fans. They were invited to play a spot at the coveted Radio 1’s Big Weekend as well as The Great Escape & Sellindge music festivals. They also recorded their first live session at BBC's Maida Vale studios for Huw Steven's show, 'In New Music We Trust'.

Kids Love Lies are Ellen Murphy (vocals) Leigh Harrison (guitar), Claudia Mansaray (bass guitar), Matty Saywell (guitar) and Raf Singer (drums). They formed in November 2007 after 4 strangers were drawn together by their shared love and passion for music and after endless searching found the missing link in pop pixie Ellen. They have built up a reputation for being one of the most exciting live bands of the moment; their passionate live shows bursting with energy and evident chemistry between band members as they jump about the stage.
