Following their triumphant appearances at the Reading and Leeds Festival this summer, Strange Addiction Records are proud to announce the release of the debut album by a new rock ‘supergroup’ Sweethead. Comprised of members from Queens of the Stone Age and Mark Lanegan’s band, the rock 4-piece release their debut single 'The Great Disruptors' Today.
Sweethead is Troy Van Leeuwen on guitar (current Queens Of The Stone Age-r and proud alum of A Perfect Circle and Failure), Serrina Sims on vocals (fresh blood), Norm Block on drums (Mark Lanegan Band, Plexi), and Eddie Nappi, on bass (Mark Lanegan Band, Handsome). Single “The Great Disruptors” is one of the many stand out tracks off their forthcoming self-titled album.
Sweethead will be joining their desert rock compadres Eagles of Death Metal on a European and UK autumn tour. See full UK tour dates below:
