Madonna & Britney Get Their Hits Out

So what’s been happening in the world of music this past week? Well, apparently Lily Allen is “retiring” from music. I’m not particularly a big fan of Lily Allen, I like a couple of her songs but I couldn’t care less if she retires or not. Lily has become more known for hanging around with Kate Moss, her fluctuating weight and showing off her third nipple. Sad news for Lily’s fans no doubt, although there’s no need to be too disheartened as she is recording another album before her alleged retirement. In fact I don’t think Lily’s fans need to worry at all, I doubt very much she will leave the music business anytime soon.

Now onto Razorlight who have apparently said that the X factor is ‘mediocre’. Regardless of your views on the X factor the issue here is that Razorlight have the gall to describe something else as mediocre! Three words- pot, kettle, black. In fact I’ve changed my mind Lily should stay and Razorlight need to retire.

Now onto two ladies who should never retire because they are both fabulous. Yep, that’s right everyone’s favourite fifty- one year old Madonna and everyone’s favourite Bipolar disorder sufferer Britney Spears. Oh, actually that one could be a tie between Britney and Kerry Katona. Anyway, they both have greatest hits coming out, again!? Madonna’s latest greatest hits ‘Celebration’, is her fourth after the ‘Immaculate Collection’ (1990) and the two volumes of her Greatest Hits released in (2001). In November Britney releases her second greatest hits ‘The Singles Collection'. Well, Christmas is on its way…
