Fanfarlo have announced details of the release of The Walls Are Coming Down on 21st September 2009. The single will be available as a download only via iTunes.
The single is taken from their forthcoming debut album, “Reservoir”, which will be released on 28th September 2009.
“Reservoir” was initially made available earlier this year as both a download for $1 and a very limited & lavishly packaged CD box exclusively through the Rough Trade shops, where it sold out in less than a week.
The group have also announced a U.K. tour in the Autumn – the joint-headline tour will also feature Sweden’s First Aid Kit. The full list of dates are as follows:

Named after a Baudelaire novella, Fanfarlo have previously released 5 singles on some of the UK’s most credible single labels, including Moshi Moshi, Fortuna Pop & White Heat.
Centred around writer and vocalist Simon Balthazar, who grew up in suburban Gothenburg, the group, also featuring Cathy Lucas (violin, keyboard, vox), Justin Finch (bass), Amos Memon (drums) & Leon Beckenham (trumpet / keyboard), are based in London.
