Brimming with artful yearning and shape-throwing beats, Five Metres Apart is the new single from Stricken City, released 28th September.
A tumbling piece of art-pop, Five Metres Apart is the lead single from Stricken City’s long awaited debut mini-album Songs About People I Know and is backed with the ethereal Gold Panda remix of previous single Lost Art and a blissful take on blog favourite Pull The House Down from Skellington (ACTH).
Released on Puregroove Records on 12th October, Stricken City’s debut is variously produced by Jeremy Warmsley (Killing Time / Small Things), Ian Davenport (PS / Five Metres Apart / Pull The House Down), Andy from Tin Can Telephone (Terrible Things), and the band themselves (Gifted / Sometimes I Love You). The album encapsulates Stricken City’s early development into fine purveyors of alternative pop, picking up fans from around the world.
