Guitar Hero 5 racks up an impressive set list this autumn

Guitar Hero 5 heads this way soon and it looks like Activision is really stepping up their game on all counts. Recent releases have seen rock fans be able to take the tunes to their Band versions of the game as well as popular solo player. This will continue along with their biggest set list of tunes and largest ensemble of talent available to date.

Expect to see the likes of Muse’s Matt Bellamy, Maroon 5, Benny Benassi, Paul van Dyk, Tiësto and one Kurt Cobain make appearances in Guitar hero 5, Band Hero and DJ hero this autumn.

The Rolling Stones will have five live downloadable tracks digitally released for Guitar Hero 5. Band Hero have managed to nab up Maroon 5 lead Adam Levine as a playable character. You will also find for GH5 Muse lead vocalist Matt Bellamy as a playable character and also Nirvana’s very own Kurt Cobain (Naturally they have included “Smells Like Teen Spirit” as one of two songs for the game by the band).

The game looks set to include their biggest variety of acts since the started the series. GH5 will also see the likes of Kings of Leon, The White Stripes, Santana, Vampire Weekend, Tom Petty, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan and Stevie Wonder.
