The Rascals To Split

It has been announced by Miles Kane that he has quit The Rascals and the band are to split up.

Following speculation this week about his future, the singer has confirmed that he will now be pursuing a solo project, while continuing to work on his collaboration with Alex Turner, The Last Shadow Puppets.

A spokesperson for the band said, “We can confirm that The Rascals have parted ways. Miles Kane is currently writing new material and has been in the studio recording some tracks by himself. Greg Mighall and Joe Edwards are working on a film project with ‘Awaydays’ star Liam Boyle.”

The band released one album, ‘Rascalize’, in 2008.
