Placebo Frontman Brian Molko had to be carried offstage after passing out during a gig in Japan.
The Placebo frontman fainted during a performance at the Summer Sonic festival in Osaka Japan last weekend.
Molko was carried off by stage staff and it emerged later that the singer had contracted a virus which contributed to him briefly losing consciousness.
In a statement posted on their official website, Placeboworld.com, the band said: “Brian picked up a virus, which coupled with jet lag and exhaustion caused his collapse onstage.
“Thanks to prompt and professional care Brian is recovering well.”
Placebo play the Reading And Leeds Festival on the weekend of August 28-30.
