Eighties film director John Hughes has sadly passed away at the age of 59. He is believed to have suffered a heart attack during a morning stroll with his family in New York.
Hughes directed many classic eighties films such as The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Pretty In Pink, Home Alone, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Weird Science, Curly Sue, National Lampoon's Vacation amongst others. The director will be sadly missed.
