Mass Murderer Charles Manson has contacted fellow inmate, producer Phil Spector asking him if he wanted to make pop songs together.
Manson has been incarcerated since 1971 for murder crimes while Spector is serving a life sentence for the murder of Lana Clarkson in 2003. Both are currently serving time in California's Corcoran state prison.
Manson contacted Spector shortly after he arrived by sending him a note via a guard. In the note he mentioned that he thought that Spector was “The greatest producer that ever lived” and that he wanted him to come over and visit him in his cell.
Spectors' publicist Hal Lifson told BBC6music that his client had been “Shaken” when he was handed the note. He went on to confirm that no collaboration would be taking place adding that “He is very worried that any association be made between himself and Charles Manson.”
