Instrumental & heavily praised rock troupe And So I Watch You From Afar have confirmed they will play Dublin's Academy this August 30th.
The Belfast-based band's raucous & complex sounds have been causing quite a stir – although they are not your typical post-rock band (even if their name suggests otherwise) – the release of their debut album “This Is Our Machine And Nothing Can Stop It” sent ripples thoughout the UK underground circuit resulting in hugely positive reviews and respect.
Rather than play around with the quiet-then-crashing-loud formula of Explosions in the Sky, the Belfast's band's live show lapses onto a groove, adds intense layers of experimentation; with their heavy, funk-laden grooves shifting tempos with ease, much to the awe of the listener.
These guys are all about the live show – and it cannot be properly judged without experiencing their full-on sonic assault. Tickets go on sale on Tuesday July 28th through all Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.
