It was inevitable, but our favourite pop star of the year has confirmed her debut Irish show for Friday 27th of November at Dublin's Academy.
Little Boots, aka Victoria Hesketh's story rings similar to her peer Lily Allen. Having recorded demos in her pyjamas and uploading them to YouTube – within weeks her channel became the most subscribed by any artist in the UK, knocking up to over 250,000 views overnight.
Her debut album, 'Hands', released on the 8th of June 2009, peaked at #5 in the UK album charts and to date has produced her highest charting single 'New in Town', which she played live on Jools Holland’s show for what would become one of the most intriguing performances of the year.
As a musician Little Boots sings and plays the keyboard, piano, stylophone and a Japanese electronic instrument, called a Tenori-on.
Music's brightest new star Little Boots will make her debut headline show appearance at Dublin's Academy on Friday 27th of November. She will also play on Saturday 28th November at Mandela Hall in Belfast.
Tickets are on sale tomorrow at 9am from Ticketmaster outlets priced €18.50 inclusive of booking fee.
