Friendly Fires Announce Single Release

Friendly Fires have announced plans to release stand alone single, ‘Kiss Of Life’ as part of the re-issue of the band’s self titled debut album.

The album is due for release on the 31st August, along with a DVD.

Ed Macfarlane, the singer if the band, told XFM, “We started writing ['Kiss Of Life'] in January and we finished it about a month ago. We've had so little time to get in the studio, so it took loads of different forms. It started out as this kind of funk, punk tune and now it's samba. I don't think we're going to do a samba-influenced album because that might be a little bit annoying, but we wanted to do something that was a progression from 'Jump In The Pool'.”
