Latitude opens Thursday!

Latitude begins it’s long weekend of music, performance and artistry this Thursday to a whole host of happy campers.

There aren’t many festivals that could claim to have headline acts such as Pet Shop Boys, Grace Jones and Nic Cave and the Bad Seeds. That is quite a diverse range of acts and is only serving to diversify how intricate a set up Latitude actual is, setting it aside from many of the other mainstream festivals and now in its fourth year the line up has grown into something quite special. Other names featuring include the Doves, Editors, Pretenders, Tricky, Saint Etienne, Fever Ray, Mew, White Lies and even a guest appearance by Thom Yorke.

With Comedy, Poetry, Film and Cabaret areas to help round out the constant entertainment it could one of this year’s biggest and best.
Glasswerk will of course be there to report back on each of the day’s events, goings on, atmosphere – and of course the impressive line up cast throughout the myriad of stages.
