Blur Play 'Last Gig' Despite Health Scare

Blur guitarist, Graham Coxon, defied illness last night (12th July) to play what Daman Albarn described as the band’s “last show” at T in the Park.

Coxon was rushed from a nearby hospital to the festival, resulting in the band’s set commencing an hour and a half later than scheduled, at 10.15pm. Co-headliners Snow Patrol took to the stage an hour late to bide time for Blur, beginning their set at 8pm.

Albarn announced, “We nearly didn't make it, Graham literally walked out of a hospital to come here. He's alright. This is our last gig.”

It is unclear whether the front-man meant the show was the last of the summer run, or if the performance was the final show for the reunited group.

Blur played the following songs:

She’s So High
Girls And Boys
Tracy Jacks
There’s No Other Way
Beetlebum
Out Of Time
Coffee And TV
Tender
Country House
Parklife
Song 2
This Is A Low
Advert
For Tomorrow
The Universal
