Thunder make last ever appearance at Sonisphere.
There are many a new-comer making their debut at the Sonisphere festival this August, but the sad news comes to UK rock fans that it also is now officially going to mark the final ever appearance onstage by Thunder.
The UK Rock act confirmed that this would be their last ever performance, but they may have picked the right festival to do it at as Sonisphere looks set to be beyond remarkable.
This will mark the end to a 20 year career for the band, Vocalist Danny Bowes said “Our final 6 months have been incredible, with sell out shows and brilliant festival appearances all over. It’s somehow quite fitting that we’ll play our last show in the UK, and having gone there as kids to see the Stones and Led Zeppelin, to do it at Knebworth will be a real thrill.”
