Halves Band Statement

Before Halves Whelans show next Friday June 19th, the band have requested an announcement.

**Band Statement**

“It's with a heavy heart that we announce that next Friday's Whelan's show will be Dave's last with Halves. I'd like to say its a story of punch-ups/drugs and emergency rooms but we're just too well-adjusted for that. Truth is Dave and his wonderful wife have decided to leave these shores to try their hands at being Canadian. This works out well because Dave will join us for a portion of our recording stint in Godpseed's studio in Montreal.(We also learned this week we'll be recording the album on proper 2” reel to reel tape–f**k digital!).

There are no plans to replace Dave (how could we?!).

So yes, myself, Tim, Elis and the extended Halves family will miss him terribly as not only has he been a founding member and essential to our sound he has been a great friend to share the great adventures we've had to date.

So come down next Friday (the 19th) and see him off in style (to the sound of new Halves songs no less).”
