Pete Doherty has cancelled his gig at Derby Rockhouse tonight after his arrest for drink driving and being found in possession with Class A drugs early yesterday morning.
The Babyshambles front man was arrested by Gloucestershire police when officers in a patrol car spotted a car that was being driven erratically.
A police spokesman said: 'A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, possession of drugs and failure to stop for police. He remains in custody at this time.'
Following the arrest, the singer’s house in Marlborough, Wiltshire was raided yesterday, but police refuse to reveal what officers were searching for, or if anything was found.
A spokesman for Gloucestershire Police said: 'We did ask Wiltshire Police to search an address in the Marlborough area in connection with a drugs arrest which took place in Gloucestershire.'
Doherty is expected to attend the court at around 10am.
