MySpace teen sensations Flamboyant Bella have announced they will be co-headlining the next Wonky Pop tour with Example. The band have already completed three sell out UK tours despite being unsigned and never having released an official single. There have been queues round the block and disappointed punters unable to get in from Newcastle to Liverpool. Inside is a sweat pit of raging hormones and manic energy where kids sing along to every word and generally go ballistic.
Flamboyant Bella are a proper 21st Century phenomenon with a staggering 1.7 million hits on their MySpace page to date – they recently reached No. 4 in the My Space Top Ten of unsigned bands.
The four piece from Hitchin in Hertfordshire, aged between 16 and 18, write songs about teenage life, love and general naughtiness. Singer, guitarist and synth player James McBreen is an incredible songwriter who has already penned a ton of perfect bubblegum pop gems with witty, insightful lyrics, while frontwoman Flo Kirton is mesmerising on stage. Siblings Mitch and 'Doreen' Rose complete the line up.
With everyone predicting the comeback of pop, this lot are definitely set to make a massive impact in 2009. Watch this space.
