Ibiza Rocks Line Up Announced

Ibiza Rocks, celebrating its 5th series of summer shows, raises the bar and the roof once again with its strongest and most diverse line up to date. The Kooks, Klaxons, The Enemy, Vampire Weekend, MGMT, Dizzee Rascal, Pendulum and Zane Lowe set the standard for a sensational summer. Every Tuesday from 16 June to 8 September, Ibiza Rocks 2009 will see the biggest bands and best breakthrough artists pitch up poolside, party under the stars and put on a live show like no other.

Ibiza Rocks kicks off on Tuesday 16 June with some very special surprise guests at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel, the only hotel to offer an auditorium style atmosphere and private viewing balconies off the bedrooms! Known for nurturing the best new bands, Ibiza Rocks first booked The Kooks in 2005, unsigned and unknown. Now they return as one of the biggest and best bands in Britain and will take to the infamous open-air stage set in the very centre of the Ibiza Rocks Hotel on 30 June.

Ibiza will just keep getting hotter in the weeks that follow with Pendulum, The Enemy, Dizzee Rascal and Zane Lowe – back by popular demand and a personal mission to be back at the epicentre of the action in the newly rejuvenated San Antonio.

Keeping it a truly international affair, New York based bands Vampire Weekend and MGMT will perform for the very first time at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel on 18 August and 25 August – two of the most exciting names in music right now at the most happening hotel in Ibiza. Ibiza Rocks closing party on 8 September comes courtesy of Klaxons; guitar kids diving into dance culture – a match made in music heaven and the perfect end to what’s going to be Ibiza Rocks’ most outstanding series of summer gigs yet.

Ibiza’s premier live music promoters have pulled it off again and along with the best line up to date, Ibiza Rocks boasts its best deals, with the addition of specially priced midweek breaks for the more flexible traveller and added extras. All holidays booked with link include a gig ticket and entry to Ibiza Rocks’ new after party ‘Reclaim the Dancefloor!’ at Eden.
