Alberta Cross (Brooklyn, NY) 3-3:40pm

5-piece Anglo-Swedish Americana rockers Alberta Cross are on a roll. In the past 5 months, they have been invited to play both Bonnaroo and Coachella '09, and have been hand-picked by Oasis as support for their UK tour. Their rich harmonies and layered guitars are reminescent of Kings of Leon, with the mellow twang of Neal Young. Read Reviews

The Asteroids Galaxy Tour (Copenhagen, Denmark) 4-4:40pm

Formed only a year ago, 6-piece Norwegian pop band The Asteroids Galaxy Tour is moving at the speed of light, heralded by Spin as one of the hottest new bands from across the pond. Their launch to international stardom was hugely boosted when their single song “Around the Bend” was hand-picked by Steve Jobs for use in a recent iPod Touch commercial. Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears (Austin, TX) 5-5:40pm

Glasswerk interview these guys last year they were ace!!!

“I want to be on the level of James Brown…the black Elvis” proclaims Austin-based soul stirrer Black Joe Lewis. Having already opened for Little Richard and Barak Obama, toured with Spoon, and played both ACL and Lolloapalooza in 2009, Lewis has the charisma and raw mojo to make it happen. Afternoons (LA, CA) 6-6:40pm

LA-based, symphonic indie-pop band Afternoons have a euphoric and grandiose sound that has been compared to Arcade Fire, Broken Social Scene, and the Flaming Lips. Their latest single “Saturday Morning” has been featured on Gossip Girl, and pop artist Shepherd Fairey (of Obama fame) created a poster campaign around the single “Say Yes”. Dead Confederate (Athens, GA) 7-7:40pm

“Its so good…SO good, one of those jaw dropping live bands…” -KEXP. Athens-based psych-rock-grunge Dead Confederate stirred up a huge buzz at SXSW 2008, and their album Wrecking Ball has been hailed as the Best Local Record of 2008 by Flagpole Magazine. “Though the band is pinned as producing the same kind of indie rock aesthetic à la My Morning Jacket and Band of Horses, Dead Confederate dabbles in darker shades than their compared predecessors”- more at Spin.com

BM LINX (New York, NY) 8-8:40pm

NYC-based 3-piece elecro-rockers BM LINX are receiving great press for their new album “Black Entertainment”, mixed by Alan Moulder (Smashing Pumpkins, Nine Inch Nails, The Killers, etc.) “If I could use one word to sum up my thoughts… it would be 'Wow'…I can't think of a better album that demonstrates the seamless transition and blend between rock n' roll and electronica.”- Indie Rock Review.

Common Market (Seattle, WA) 9-9:20pm
In the brief time since Common Market dropped their extraordinary debut album, the duo has gathered praise as Seattle Weekly’s Best New Artist and performing slots on grand stages such as Sasquatch Festival and The Capitol Hill Block Party. “Common Market is creating a well-deserved buzz in the underground hip-hop scene. With a style that is at once nostalgic and progressive, the duo presents a beautiful balance of classic flavor and current social commentary” More at HOB.com

Blue Scholars (Seattle, WA) 9:20-9:40pm

Blue Scholars have emerged out of the erupting Northwest hip-hop scene with soulful beats, poetic yet political rhymes. Having released two full length albums, several EPs and multiple videos, the group has become one of the top West Coast independent hip hop acts. “Musically, the two are on some other level, with complex piano arrangements and thoughtful verses” -More at Blogcritic.com

Mike Relm (San Farancisco, CA)10-10:30pm

San Francisco's MIKE RELM is known for live performances which feature a series of audio mash-ups with video images, manipulated in real-time. Relm's credits include an arena tour with the Blue Man Group, performances at Major League baseball games, and the closing ceremonies of the Pan Am Games in Rio de Janeiro. He completed remixes for Adult Swim in conjunction with the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie, scored a short film for the Disney Channel series “Too Many Robots,” and created a four-song mega mix for “Yo Gabba Gabba” (Nickelodeon).
